Our domes were built in 2024 and insulated to be comfy in any Michigan weather. The domes are located on 13 acres in a pine forest, offering stunning forest views 365 days a year.
It includes a kitchen with an oven, fridge, microwave and dishwasher, with a quartz island for seating.
The main king bed overlooks the forest through the 22 foot panoramic window. The common area includes a modern loveseat and two velvet barrel chairs.
A full staircase leads to the loft, with a queen bed and television.
The full bathroom has a shower, vanity, and toilet.

Set on 13 acres in a private forest in Northern Michigan. This land includes 5 acres of a pristine red pine forest, which remains beautiful all year round. You can also walk the property to experience the outdoors. The location is also near Crystal Mountain, Iron Fish Distillery, Crystal Lake Beulah, Benzonia, Frankfort, Lake Michigan, and all the beauty of Northern Michigan.

The whole dome is yours, as well as a private hot tub and smokeless fire pit with comfortable adirondack chairs. The domes include a reservable sauna and cold plunge.

We booked the Aurora Dome for an anniversary trip for our first time in Michigan. We enjoyed a drive up the coast from Grand Rapids, stopping at a number of lake side towns on our way into Benzonia.
We had a loose itinerary of a couple of things we wanted to do but thanks to other reviews we read before the trip we knew to plan a day just to stay and enjoy the dome during our visit.
We loved the sauna and cold water therapy tank as those are both amenities you pay for at spa resorts just to use for a short period of time.
We had no idea how bright it would be so late into the night and early morning and loved how much we felt connected to the nature around us.
To note: Our neighboring dome could be seen from the deck/hot tub which we didn’t realize when booking so it gave a semi private feel vs. a truly secluded vibe but we only saw the other guests a couple times during the week.
All in all we’d recommend an early July stay at the dome ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ weather and ambiance!

The Perfect Girls’ Getaway in a Magical Geodome!
We just came back from the most incredible girls weekend at this gorgeous Geodome in northern Michigan, and I can’t say enough good things! Sisters, sister-in-laws, and honorary sisters (aka sister-wannabes 😉) all gathered for a weekend full of connection, laughter, and total relaxation—and this dreamy dome was the perfect backdrop.
The space itself is stunning—cozy, well-appointed, and full of thoughtful touches. We soaked in the private hot tub under the stars, unwound in the sauna, and ended each night around the campfire, sharing stories and making memories we’ll never forget. The trails right from the property made for peaceful morning walks, and we even squeezed in a beach day!
The location is ideal—tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and secluded, but close enough to explore the charming lakeside towns along M-22. We had the best time popping in and out of boutiques, grabbing local treats, and soaking

Staying in a dome at Glamp Michigan was everything I had hoped for. Relaxing and wonderful surroundings.
The only thing that would have made it better was specific instructions on air and heat. It wasn’t a system we were used to!

Where to start....Back story, my husband and I came as a mini-moon. We do these instead of having taken a honeymoon when we got married in September 2019. This exceeded everything we anticipated! Everything was intentionally thought out! The property was beautiful! We utilized everything, except sauna and. Old plunge....NEXT TIME! Because my husband is hooked and we'll be back again for an off season mini-moon! We traveled to east jordan glassworks and stopped along the way finding new destinations to visit with our Camaro Club!

I can't rate this place highly enough! My wife and I stayed here over the weekend, and we loved it. The dome was perfectly clean and comfortable. Aaron clearly has a high attention to detail to make a great experience for guests. Note the hidden drawers when looking for silverware. They are actually really cool, and I'm trying to convince my wife we should get them.
There is a lot of snow in the wintertime (as expected in Northern Michigan). This was no issue at all. The driveway was plowed every morning, and there are shovels if you need a little extra removal. Beware of falling snow. Snow falls off trees onto the dome and sometimes off the dome. There is no need to worry about this but note that it may make some noise from time to time.
Aaron was a great host. We were worried we would be traveling in blizzard conditions, and Aaron was very helpful with recommendations. He also left great nearby recs of things to do nearby.
We would love to stay again soon, but it books FAST.

Aaron’s place was beautiful. It was the perfect place for a girls weekend! It had everything we needed and the place was very clean. The hot tub was very relaxing! The location is close to a lot of places we wanted to visit as well. We had one minor issue when we were there and Aaron was very responsive and went above and beyond to make sure things were resolved. He was a great host and I can’t say enough good things about his place! We have already talked about going back and renting both places!

If you’re looking for a luxurious trip away up north, then this is your sign to book this dome! We had the best short weekend getaway here. The property was beautiful, spacious, and filled with amenities. It was extremely nice staying somewhere so brand new, but check with Aaron first to see if every amenity is set up and ready for use as a few of ours were still in the process of being set up. Aaron, the host, really cares about his guests and their stay. We ran into a problem on our first night and Aaron handled it with such care and grace - that alone is enough for us to want to rebook our stay with him. We really enjoyed using the fire pit, but we especially enjoyed having our own hot tub to use right off of our deck. All of us were extremely happy and pleased with the location, the property, the amenities, Aaron himself, and the things to do around the Frankfort/Traverse City area (that is where we explored, but you definitely are not limited to only that). 10/10!!!

Stop scrolling and book now! A stay at Aurora dome will become a treasured lifetime memory! My husband and I were looking for luxurious amenities, privacy, easy access to nature and good restaurants nearby to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. This place checked all the boxes! The hot tub is completely private from all other domes on the property. The appliances, cookware, linens, and finishes are top quality. ANYTHING you ever need is at your fingertips, including super glue to fix broken sunglasses. :) It was difficult for us to leave the beauty, comfort, and quiet peacefulness of the property, but we were equally enchanted by the surroundings! The neighboring nature preserves are magical! The farm fresh food at the restaurants is impeccable. It was very hard for us to leave and we can't wait to return! Thank you, Aaron for providing a unique, luxurious property with everything anyone could ask for!

Awesome stay! First time staying at a glamping dome and it won’t be my last. Communication was on point and all of the amenities just added to the experience. The host even had large ice cubes waiting before arrival for the use of the cold plunge. I will definitely be back!
